The Board of Directors regret to inform everyone that the Pow Wow scheduled for May 23 has been CANCELED due to extensive flooding. We are all very disappointed. Quiet Dove has done so much work already in getting this event up and running. There is just too much water to deal with at this time. Please continue to check back with us as to any other news...
Vendor checks will be returned or torn up if not already deposited. Those deposited will be refunded.

The Chisholm Trail was the major route out of Texas for livestock. Although it was used only from 1867 to 1884, the Longhorn cattle driven north along it provided a steady source of income that helped the impoverished state recover from the Civil War.
